Henry K. Corneles, P.E. - President

Mr. Corneles has over thirty-five years of experience working for both government agencies and running his own engineering consulting firm. The firm was founded in 1989 after he spent a significant amount of time working with both municipal and private clients.

Before owning his own firm, Mr. Corneles was a Vice President of Clark Engineers, P.C., in Rochester, N.Y. For sixteen years prior to this, he worked for a variety of municipal agencies. He was Managing Engineer for the City of Rochester where he was the representative for the $40,000,000 Convention Center Project. He worked as Town Engineer for Henrietta, N.Y. where he developed expertise in managing issues involving Federal, State and County agencies. He also worked for the NYS Department of Transportation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joseph C. Ardieta, P.E. - Vice President

Mr. Ardieta's seventeen years of experience include a variety of engineering disciplines that focus on site design and development. He has performed floodplain analyses as a contractor for FEMA and has acquired FEMA approvals as a staff member of a local municipality and for private developments. His experience includes projects for Wake County, NC; Gadsden County, FL; Town of Henrietta, NY; and Konar Enterprises for the Thruway Park Industrial Center Physical Map Revision. His range of expertise included: construction management, estimating, inspection, public relations and staff management.

His experience began as a member of the Greenhorne and O'Mara, Inc., team in Washington, DC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christopher E. Martin, P.E. - Vice President

Mr. Martin has over twenty years of experience as a Civil Engineer. He has experience in project management, highway and subdivision design, site work for commercial development, and design of water mains, storm and sanitary sewers, septic systems, and drainage culverts and bridges. His experience also includes preparation of specifications and contract documents. Mr. Martin has experience in site plan reviews, backflow preventer design, shop drawing review, developing health and safety plans, and providing construction management.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

John E. Knapp - Resident Engineer

Mr. Knapp has extensive construction project representation experience. He has two NICET level III certifications and has served as Resident on highway reconstruction, site, bridge and building projects. In addition to inspection, he conducts progress meetings, prepares contract payments, change orders and other project documentation. He has previous experience in construction materials testing, and was responsible for the City of Rochester's Hazardous Sidewalk Replacement Program. He has experience with various software including AutoCAD and GIS ArcInfo. Mr. Knapp has received consistently high ratings by clients regarding the quality of his work and attention to public relations on projects.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ronald G. Harrell – Senior CADD Technician

Mr. Harrell has over twenty years of extensive experience in design and drafting, in both civil engineering and environmental engineering disciplines. This background includes storm and sanitary sewer design, water system design and replacement, roadway designs, site work design and improvements, subdivision design, and residential and commercial grading plan design. His experience also includes water and sewage treatment plant design, drainage culvert design, and bridge design and replacement. He has received training and experience in computer-aided design and drafting as well as surveying. Since joining Corneles Engineering in 1994, he has gained additional experience in commercial and industrial building design, construction and renovation.

Marcia A.  Timmerman - Senior CADD Technician

Ms. Timmerman has over 30 years experience in the civil engineering drafting field with 15 of those years working with CADD programs preparing construction plans.  She has worked on numerous private and commercial projects preparing plans which include site, grading, utility and erosion control plans; detail drawing; storm drainage, road and sewer profiles.    Simone Edison - Resident Project Representative

Ali Altinbasak – Resident Project Representative 

 

Mr. Altinbasak has an Associates degree from MCC in Civil Engineering Technology and two years experience in the construction field.   He has performed inspection on various types of projects including Hazardous Sidewalk Replacement, MCC Student Housing and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans.

 

 

 

 

 

Marisa A. Hoff – Project Engineer

 

Ms. Hoff has over five years of experience in civil engineering.  Her background includes design of storm and sanitary sewers, water mains, improvement and precise grading plans, and preparation of drainage and sanitary sewer studies.  She also has conducted manhole testing, pipe inspection, and road grade inspection for new construction.

 

She began her civil engineering career at Rick Engineering Company in San Diego, California.  There, she gained experience in subdivision and utility design, as well as plan processing and coordination.
